Over 60 academic and public libraries in California have agreed to share their collections through a free service called LINK+.  You can place a request online and the LINK+ courier service will deliver the book in 3 or 4 days--you will get an email when your material arrives. Books can be kept for 3 weeks and renewed once.

Some libraries will lend media material as well, although these usually have a 7 day limit.

Many LINK+ libraries allow a "Visiting Patron" service that will permit you to go another LINK+ library yourself and check out material with your PUC ID.

It is also possible to request a book and choose to pick it up at another LINK+ library. This "Pick Up Anywhere" option is useful if you need some books while home during a quarter break.

This service is for current students and faculty. Your ID is required to use the system.

Note that only material not available in the PUC library can be borrowed from another LINK+ library.

If you need something that isn't available through LINK+ (and this includes articles) use the regular interlibrary loan request forms.
