How do I get a ScienceDirect article?

Because of the cost, PUC does not have a subscription to the ScienceDirect database. But we do have access to all of the journals and articles. The library will pay per article for you to obtain whatever you need. Our cost is $23/article so out of kindness to the library budget, make sure you are requesting the article(s) you really need. Thank You!

Answer

  1. When you find the article you need, look for the red PDF icon at the top labeled "Get Access"

  2. Click on the "Request Document button

  3. Fill out the form and submit. A librarian will receive the request and send you the PDF article, sometimes within a few minutes during business hours.
